1865 by Street; late 13thc details; semicircular baptistery at W end by Ponting 1925-6; Street
furnishings; mosaics 1911-15 by Ponting.

Large cruciform church; heavily restored by Butterfield in 1865-7; 13thC and Perpendicular; impressive proportions; Early English chancel with red and black tile decorations; stone screen; good stained glass by Alexander Gibbs; 16th and 17thC monuments; William Cunnington,“ the Father of Wiltshire Archaeology “ is buried in the churchyard.

Impressive church by Pearson,1866-68; cruciform tower and spire; big lofty “Decorated” interior; rose window in north transept; stone rib vaulting; wall decoration and stained glass by Clayton & Bell; also stained glass by Kempe; c 170 Australian victims of Spanish flu buried in churchyard.
Optional visit to Sutton Veny – St Leonard (S.E. of Warminster )
Nave and transepts in ruins; 13thC chancel. In the care of The Churches Conservation Trust.
