The Friends AGM and Annual Lecture will take place on Saturday 20th April 2024, at 3:00pm in St Thomas’s Church, St. Thomas’s Square, Salisbury, SP1 1BA. We are very pleased that Steve Dunn will be giving this year’s annual lecture, the title of which is: “Can we still read the Medieval Church? Understanding the language of symbols and graffiti.” Steve was Head Guide at Salisbury Cathedral where he has recently founded and managed a graffiti survey. He has a long and continuing interest in medieval cathedrals and churches and we much look forward to learning from his extensive research and experience. |
Following the lecture, tea and coffee will be served in the church and as always, Friends are invited to join Choral Evensong in the Cathedral at 5:30pm. If you would like to attend the AGM and lecture, please email jeremygroom@outlook.com. There will be a charge of £20.00 per head on the door. |
