Friends AGM and Annual Lecture

The Friends AGM and Annual Lecture will take place on Saturday 20th April 2024, at 3:00pm in St Thomas’s Church, St. Thomas’s Square, Salisbury, SP1 1BA.

We are very pleased that Steve Dunn will be giving this year’s annual lecture, the title of which is: “Can we still read the Medieval Church? Understanding the language of symbols and graffiti.”  Steve was Head Guide at Salisbury Cathedral where he has recently founded and managed a graffiti survey. He has a long and continuing interest in medieval cathedrals and churches and we much look forward to learning from his extensive research and experience.

Following the lecture, tea and coffee will be served in the church and as always, Friends are invited to join Choral Evensong in the Cathedral at 5:30pm.
