St Mary, Alvediston

St Mary, Alvediston

The church is situated in a quiet spot above the River Ebble. The tower is
Perpendicular but the rest is by T.H.Wyatt from 1866. There are good 17th
and 18th century monuments to the Wyndhams including one by Rysbrack.
Sir Anthony Eden, Earl of Avon, is buried in the churchyard.
