St John the Baptist, Charlton

St John the Baptist, Charlton

The church adjoins the gates of Charlton Park. The church is mainly
14th century although much restored in the 17th. There is a good monument
of 1598 to Sir Henry Knyvett as well as later memorials to the Earls of
Suffolk and Berkshire.
