The church is of 1824-6 by Charles Fowler with a later spire by Scott. It
contains 16th century Ley monuments, sgraffito work by Baron de Triqueti of
1863 and a selection of imported medieval glass.

The large cruciform Grade 1 church has an 18th century tower. Note the
nave wagon roof with its horizontal angels. There is a Jacobean pulpit
together with Jacobean pews. In the chancel are to be found various memorials
to the Catholic Arundells of Wardour Castle.

This Grade 1 church is of Norman foundation. The tower is Perpendicular. It
is full of interesting things. The unique plaster decoration of the chancel was
devised in 1639 by the then rector who was the father of Christopher Wren.
The lapis lazuli reredos is by Blomfield. There is an excellent east window by
Sir Ninian Comper in memory of George Wyndham of Clouds.

The Grade 1 church was built mainly in the 12th and 13th centuries although
the tower is Perpendicular. The font and the arcades are Romanesque. There
are wall tablets and stained glass to be seen. Note the monument to an exiled
French Carthusian of 1798.
